A note from the creator

While teaching over a thousand writing seminars to lawyers, scientists, CPAs, and professional Writers, I began to recognize that most writing problems fit a finite set of patterns. Find those patterns, and you can solve those problems. I have spent over ten years perfecting and patenting these methods for helping others quickly and intuitively improve their writing.

I designed WordRake to help even the most sophisticated professional Writer improve sentences. It will spot useless words and phrases, enliven your style, and move your points along faster.

The computer architect, Peter Bird, and I built the engine using thousands of writing samples from Esquire Magazine, National Geographic, and other quality periodicals; and from books by famous Writers, like Jack London, some of whom have won prestigious literary prizes, and all of whom have been edited by professional editors. If WordRake can help these people, imagine what WordRake can do for you.
